turned on their class and Abbiati was only beaten by two
spectacular long range Matuzalem efforts. Jon Dahl Tomasson
scored a brace of goals whilst Shevchenko scored his 24th
goal of the season thus enabling to equal his own record

New sponsor
Milan
will have a new sponsor as from next season. The sponsor
will be "Casino di Lugano". Talks have been
in hand since 2003 and finally an agreement has ben reached.
Without
any sort of motivation whatsoever, Milan entered the stadium
with other things on their mind. It was clear from the
outset that this was "that" kind of match. Ancelotti
rested most players and inserted Simic and Kaladze on
the flanks and Serginho, Brocchi, Ambrosini and Redondo
in midfield. Milan conceded the first goal after only
8 mins from an incredible overhead kick by the talented
Di Michele and then proceeded to give away a penalty on
the 30 min mark.
The
second half saw a slight improvement on Milan's part which
was just enough for Andriy Shevchenko to score his 23rd
goal of the season and his 90th Serie A goal, equalling
the great Marco Van Basten.
