Carlo
Ancelotti and AC Milan have put pen to paper and signed
a contract extension till 30th June 2008. This has obviously
ended all speculation of Carlo joining Real Madrid.
Costacurta
for one more year.

Costacurta has extended his termi with Milan for another
year as a player. This will take him to play for Milan
at age 41 !!!

to sign Andrea Barzagli
It
is being rumoured that Milan have agreed terms and conditions
with Palermo for the passage of Andrea Barzagli next June.
This means that Milan have now resolved the central defender
problem because of Jaap Stam's departure. Milan have again
shown that buying Italian is their policy. Barzagli is
the under 21 central defender and could be on his way
to Germany for the World Cup finals.
