Match Report Milan again did not play at all well and came out of the Delle Alpi with a merited defeat. Juventus pressed forward right from the start, especially knowing that a win would take them top of the table. Missing a number of players, most importantly Shevchenko, Zaccheroni opted for a 3-4-1-2 line-up with Boban behind the tandem Bierhoff - Weah. However, the Liberian ws on an off day and hardly managed to get hold of a decent ball all evening. Milan took the lead against the run of play in the 21st minute. Weah managed to scramble a ball across the face of goal. Sala headed towards the goalposts witht he ball hitting the post and bouncing in off Zidane's foot into the net. Juventus equalised immediately. Del Piero took a freekick from the right and found Conte's head which beat Abbiati. Juventus came out with guns blazing in the second half and Inzaghi scored after six minutes with a well taken left footed volley from an immaculate pass from Zidane. Zaccheroni made a few substitutions and the game lingered on without Milan being able to create effective chances. In the dying seconds of the match Kovacevic lobbed over Abbiati to make the score 3-1.
