Dalla Bona finally
Sam
Dalla Bona is finally a Milan player. The player who's saga has lasted well over
a year has finally had his wish come true. Milan have signed a contract with the
player till 2007 and have not given Chelsea any players in exchange. Donadel therefore
remains with Milan for now.
Sytchev
Milan
seem to have concluded a deal with Spartak Moscow for world cup revelation Dmitri
Sytchev. The player will remain with the Russian team for the next season and
will join Milan in June 2003. In the meantime Milan are trying to sign Carsten
Jancker from bayern Munich to top up the attackers list.
Redondo
go ahead
Redondo
has recieved a much needed go ahead from Doctor Saillant. The Argentine does not
need another operation and his leg is recovering well. This is certainly good
news for Milan who had feared that the player might have to retire.

Albertini to Atletico ??
Demetrio
Albertini could be moving on to Atletico Madrid in the next few days. Seems that
Carlo Anceloti has convinced him to move. It all seems that the player will be
given a free transfer and not a loan deal. If this rumour is true there will only
be one player left from the old guard and that is captain Paolo Maldini. This
move will have two effects. One is the reduction in Milan's wages, sicne Albertini
is one of the high paid players. Secondly he will make space for the likes of
Dalla Bona and the other midfielders like Rui Costa.

time after a good number of years, the old guard players Costacurta and Rossi,
whose contracts were not renewed. Also without a contract is orlandini who has
been given a free transfer. New players showed up like Sedorf, who was impressed
with the facilities at Milanello. redondo also showed up and trained normally
with the squad. In the first "partitella" the firstgoal of the season
was scored by newcomer Boriello who beat Aldegani.
Galliani
explained the impossibility of signing Nesta deeming the signature way too expensive
and that Milan cannot permit themselves such luxury at the present moment.
