Bad news:
Oddo and Zambrotta got a one year extension to 2012. Oddo is utter waste of space, and should have been offloaded. Zambrotta is still OK (if we have to keep some of the older players), but at 33 we should not shell out several years ahead. He still had one year left. Next spring we could decide if we wanted one more year.

Worse news:
We sold half of Strasser, Zigoni, Verdi, Legate (right after buying him - why even buy him then), Darmian etc. It's like pissing your pants to keep warm in the snow. Just like with Boriello, Paloschi, they will 10 double in value when they actually get to play and we'll have to spend a lot to get them back. Have Galliani heard about LOAN if we don't need them this season.

Good news:
We got a good young defender in Papa...etc.
Rumors of Honda arriving, so we'll have some youth in the creative department (Sedorf, Pirlo, even DInho, can't be expected to last forever).
Gattuso might leave and get replaced by Lazzari.
Hunter should be staying (I still think he's the most lethal striker we have and will shine if we actually play him).

I guess the reason they sold half of those youngsters is because no club will be serious about a player if he is not even half belong to the club. Those players on loan are mostly subs unless they are really outstanding. Plus among those youngsters, not all of them will grow to a star. I am sure few of them will tho. Then at that time we use the money that get from the rest(so so ones) to buy back those outstanding ones. I think it's actually a pretty good plan. I don't really complain about that. The thing really bothers me is we renewed contract with Oddo, Zambro and other old players. Yes especially Oddo. That's just wasting of money.

As for Hunterlaar, he gets pretty decent score rate. But the thing I don't really like him is his rough skill, like can't even stop a good cross from his teammates and so on. I'd rather to have a stronger or faster CF play his role. But it's just my humble opinion...

Now is almost Aug. I am still hoping SB will bring us some surprises(not bad ones)...

Well Bio & Lee if you think so far all was bad news, how about this one:
VARESE - MILAN 2-0 !!!!!!! WTF

Just last Saturday in an interview Galliani said that Milan market is closed, we have our squad
for 10/11 season And he believe we are more then competitive Competitive for what??
Relegation battle?

Look just last night first half starting line-up (very competitive!):
Milan (4-3-1-2)
Abbiati,
Oddo, Bonera, Kaladze, Janku
Abate, Ambro, Flamini
Seedorf,
Pato, Borielo

This was so competitive team, that have cosided two goals in 1/2 hour to newly serie B promoted team!!!!!!
Look at the defence. OMG Oddo, Bonera, Kaladze, Jankulovski! All players that should have been sold
long time ago! No, but they have extended their contracts!! WTF is going on here? What our management
are doing? Are they NUTS? Everybody knows defence is our BIG problem. Look the list of DF players:
Kakha Kaladze, Oguchi Onyewu, Alessandro Nesta, Sokratis, Massimo Oddo, Marek Jankulovski,
Gianluca Zambrotta, Daniele Bonera, Thiago Silva, Andrea De Vito, Mario Yepes, Luca Antonini +
Ignazio Abate can also play right back!!!!!! 13 players, that's far too much. And yet our managment
extended contracts for 3 of them (Oddo, Kaladze & Zambrotta) How any manager could possibly make
somthing OUT OF THIS MESS!??? Tell you guys, now I'm really pissed off!

The only thing I hope for is, there will not be more bad news to follow!
