Milan had to
fight hard to gather all three points today at the San
Siro. The rossoneri created numerous scoring chances but
somehow failed to take any of them until Ancelotti made
two substitutions late in the match. Rui Costa came in
for Seedorf and Inzaghi came in for Tomasson. Rui Costa
scored the opened with a superbly taken free kick and
Inzaghi procured the all important winning penalty which
Pirlo scored. Perugia reacted after the goals and obtained
a penalty when Pancaro fouled a Fusani in the area. Pancaro
was also red carded for his effort.
